I revisited a great perspective on leadership this morning, and it got me asking myself – again – what are the changes that I am going to make today to become a better person and better leader; more productive and more efficient?
Life really is a lot to do with balance, time management and working towards an outcome or goal.
It can get extremely busy, cluttered and crowded, and more often than not we find ourselves being drawn into processes and activities that do nothing to support our core strategies.
So this week I am going to focus on;
- ruthlessly prioritising where, and how, I spend my time.
- focusing on being productive, and not just busy.
If it won’t help me achieve my business and personal goals, support the things that are important to me or make me a better person, I am just not going to engage.
I am also going to invest more time and effort into those activites and behaviours that are going to deliver me lasting value. Investing my time in those things that are important to me, and not just urgent.
I might ruffle a few feathers along the way but I going to give it another go. Do yourself a favour a take the 7 minutes needed to listen to the below.
Leadership isn't for the select few at the top. In highly effective organizations, there are leaders at every level. https://t.co/zyC8ZKdKpX
